UK-based gospel artist and Scripture-singing minister MIN.ADEOLUWA has released his new single, ‘OORE JÉSÙ SE (What Jesus Has Done)’, featuring veteran Nigerian gospel minister Evangelist Ojo Ade. The song was released on 9 October, which also marked the singer’s birthday.
The song is a joyful expression of thanksgiving, reflecting on the goodness, mercy and faithfulness of God. Sung in Yoruba, ‘ORE JÉSÙ SE’ speaks of God’s goodness being far beyond what words can fully express, while inviting listeners to celebrate through praise and dancing.
Ahead of the release, MIN.ADEOLUWA shared on Instagram:
“Here is a small boy, helped by God, sustained by grace, preserved by mercy and carried by His faithfulness.”
He went on to reflect on why God’s faithfulness means so much to him, describing it as a reminder of a promise-keeping God whose goodness and mercy remain constant through every season of life.
For MIN.ADEOLUWA, the collaboration with Evangelist Ojo Ade carries a personal significance. Growing up in a musical family, he was surrounded by indigenous Yoruba gospel music, with Baba Ara, Tope Alabi and Evangelist Ojo Ade among the ministers whose music he listened to most.
Having the opportunity to record with one of those voices makes ‘OORE JÉSÙ SE’ particularly special.
The song’s message is captured in its recurring declaration, “Oore Jésù ṣe fún mi, ẹnu mi kò lè sọ tán,” meaning “What Jesus has done for me, my mouth cannot fully tell.”
Rather than attempting to recount every blessing, the song brings those testimonies together in one expression of gratitude. Its lively Yoruba praise sound and repeated invitation to dance make it a fitting song for personal thanksgiving, family celebrations and congregational praise.
With ‘OORE JÉSÙ SE’, MIN.ADEOLUWA and Evangelist Ojo Ade offer listeners a simple invitation: look back at what Jesus has done, put on your dancing shoes and give thanks.
‘OORE JÉSÙ SE (What Jesus Has Done)’ is available on all major streaming platforms, with the official music video also available on MIN.ADEOLUWA TV on YouTube.
