Week 34 of the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart welcomes five new songs into the Top 20, with Diana Hamilton leading the new entries, Jake & Mates making their way into the Top 10, and Jaz Donell arriving with two songs in the same week.
As the chart continues to grow, new songs are finding their way onto the list every week. With a maximum of two songs per artist and a 13-week chart limit, there is always room for more UK Christian and Gospel music to be discovered.
This week is another good example, with five fresh entries spread across the Top 20.
So, who are the new entries this week? Let’s meet them one by one.
NO. 5: DIANA HAMILTON – ‘W’ATE MANIM (YOU HAVE HONOURED ME)’
The highest new entry this week comes from Diana Hamilton, with ‘W’ate Manim (You Have Honoured Me)’ entering straight at No.5.
It is an impressive start for the song, landing inside the Top 5 in its very first week.
NO. 8: JAKE & MATES FEAT. KXC – ‘I BELIEVE’
Next is ‘I Believe’ by Jake & Mates featuring KXC, entering at No.8.
It is a particularly good week for Jake & Mates, who also have ‘We Praise You/Worthy Of It All’ climbing to No.9. That gives them two songs sitting next to each other inside the Top 10.
NO. 15: JAZ DONELL – ‘REACH THE SKY’
Jaz Donell makes a new entry at No.15 with ‘Reach The Sky’.
And this is not the only song bringing Jaz Donell onto the chart this week. There is another entry further down, making it a double debut.
NO. 18: JAZ DONELL – ‘CHILD OF GOD FREESTYLE’
Jaz Donell appears again at No.18 with ‘Child Of God Freestyle’.
Two songs entering the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart in the same week is a strong start for Jaz Donell, and it will be interesting to see how both songs perform in the coming weeks.
NO. 19: NEW WINE WORSHIP & SARAH BIRD – ‘SIMPLE WORSHIP’
Closing this week’s new entries is ‘Simple Worship’ by New Wine Worship and Sarah Bird, entering at No.19.
The song adds another worship release to the Top 20 and begins its own chart journey this week.
Five new songs, with Jaz Donell making a double appearance and Jake & Mates enjoying two positions inside the Top 10.
Which of these new entries have you listened to, and which one do you think will climb higher next week?
