Peter Meadows was a significant figure in the British Christian and Gospel music scene. From co-founding Musical Gospel Outreach in the 1960s to helping shape Buzz Magazine (now Premier Christianity), Spring Harvest, Greenbelt and the early beginnings of Premier Christian Radio, his influence helped lay foundations that generations have built upon.
Less than 2 months ago, on 22nd November 2025, Peter along with colleagues David Payne and Geoff Shearn were honoured with Lifetime Achievement Awards at the StepFWD Awards in recognition of lives that helped shape the sound and story of UK Christian and Gospel music.
RIP Peter Meadows and your legacy continues to echo through the movements you pioneered and the countless lives you touched.
