Zac Carpenter drops encouraging lyrics in brand new single ‘Fly’

It’s a warm sunny day and you are reminiscing about God’s faithfulness. ‘Fly’ feels like the sun is shining after a lot of rainy days. That breath of hope! This song came from Zac Carpenter going through a 5 year struggle with nausea and an undiagnosed health condition. One day he picked up Isaiah 40 and the words came to life and overflowed into a song that he clinged onto in his sickness.

For fans of Israel Houghton and Brandon Lake, this driven and upbeat song captures the faithfulness of God in the midst of health battles. Produced at Riddlesdown Records by up and coming producer and drummer, Joel Carpenter, Zac is joined by his little brother as the pair create a fusion of Pop/Rock, Gospel & Contemporary Christian Music.

The upbeat, driving production showcases Zac in his element. “In the hurting, I know that your arms surround In the weeping, you catch every tear’’ delivers Zac, remarking on how he has always felt the grace of God even in his darkest moments. It is lyrics like this and his trademark tone that are helping Zac to leave an impression on listeners, old and new.

Discussing the record, Zac says “This is a personal one for me. Going through the pain of health issues can feel hopeless and at times has left me frustrated. But these ancient words of Isaiah have given me so much hope in God, even through the storms of sickness. This song is an encouragement to all those who suffer with sickness or know someone who suffers with sickness to put our hope in the one who holds us close and weeps with us.”

Zac continues to receive support from various places. Recent achievements for Zac include multiple appearances at festivals and events, including Dreaming The Impossible 2023, where 4000 young people gathered in Staffordshire, UK. Zac was also featured on Premier Christian Radio’s Big Breakfast Show and UCB Radio’s Share Your Story Show. Previous support includes plays on Tribe Urban Radio, Songwriting Award winner for the Mayor of London ‘Gigs’ Competition and performing at
Trafalgar Square for the Feast of Saint George, presented by Abbie McCarthy.

Zac continues to build a solid foundation over worldwide audiences. With a new sound, Zac’s setting his sights high and has the music to back his ambition.
