Building What’s Next: New COO Micah Joseph Looks To AStepFWD’s Future

Micah Joseph joins AStepFWD as Chief Operating Officer, stepping into a key leadership role that supports the organisation’s growth and structure. Working closely with the leadership team, he oversees the day-to-day operations of AStepFWD, ensuring vision is translated into clear systems, aligned teams and strong execution.

As COO, Micah provides oversight across departments including Content, Communications, Partnerships, Graphics and Multimedia, UK Christian Charts, Events, Website Development, and Writers. His role is to make sure each area works together efficiently and effectively.

“Micah brings great heart, passion and a deep understanding of both ministry and media,” says O’Neil Dennis, Founder & CEO of AStepFWD. “His ability to align people and processes whilst keeping sight of purpose makes him the right person to help steward this season of growth.”

Born and raised in the UK with Irish and Sri Lankan roots, Micah is someone you call when a project needs to move forward. He is known for bringing order to complex ideas, helping teams work well together and keeping things moving with both focus and good humour.

Raised by two Christian preaching parents, alongside six sisters and one brother, Micah grew up in a faith-filled environment shaped by creativity and pastoral grace. That foundation continues to shape the way he leads today, with a strong sense of service and responsibility.

Following his appointment back in February, Micah had this to say,

“I’m honoured to be part of what God is doing through AStepFWD and grateful to be stepping into this role. It’s a privilege to partner with a vision that’s already doing so much in the UK Christian and Gospel space. Looking forward to building well, strengthening what’s already here, and seeing what Jesus has in store for all of us in the next season.”

His first step into television came as a Production Runner on Britain’s Got Talent, where he gained experience in live production and fast-paced broadcast environments. He later joined TBN UK as a Producer, Floor Manager, and Writer, contributing to programmes including Big Church Festival, The Chosen: Red Carpet, Music Stories, How Great Thou Art: The Song and the Story, Stirring the Waters of Revival, and the Step FWD Awards.

Alongside television, Micah also works with unscripted TV production companies, ministry platforms, and public figures as a Trainer, Producer, and Floor Manager. His work includes projects with Dr Sharon Stone and Prophetic Voice TV, helping deliver productions with consistency and professionalism.

He is passionate about bridging the gap between church and marketplace spaces, creating work that serves both with excellence. Known for his upbeat nature and genuine love for people, Micah believes strong leadership should always leave room for purpose and impact.

At AStepFWD, his role is not simply about operations but about helping the organisation grow with purpose. As AStepFWD continues to expand its influence across Christian and Gospel media, Micah’s leadership will help ensure that growth remains focused and built to last.
