The UK Christian and Gospel music space will turn its attention to London this week as Elevate Conference brings together leading voices from across the industry for a full day of conversation, insight and connection. Taking place on Thursday 23 April 2026 in King’s Cross, London, the event is presented by the Christian Music Alliance and the Gospel Music Industry Alliance in partnership with CCLI.
With the surge in Christian and Gospel music in recent years, the space is carrying a different kind of visibility. In the UK, that growing attention has been shaped by major moments such as DC3 becoming the first Christian artist to win Best Newcomer in MOBO history while also taking Best Gospel Act, alongside the introduction of the Official UK Christian and Gospel Singles Chart. Beyond the UK, the wider global scene has also continued to show signs of growth, with Billboard highlighting the rise of Christian music and Luminate data showing the genre grew by 25% from 2024 to 2025, making it one of the fastest-growing genres in the U.S.
That is part of why the Elevate programme matters. This is not just another industry gathering. It is happening at a time when the scene is growing, visibility is increasing, and conversations around structure, sustainability and opportunity are becoming more necessary. The topics lined up around the current state of Christian and Gospel music, routes to market, sync licensing, artist story and audience, and making music while still making a living all speak to the kind of questions artists and professionals are facing now.
The speaker line-up also adds real weight to the day, with names including Anu Omideyi, Chris Lawson-Jones, Jerub, Chris Graves, Priscilla Jones, Matty Brown, Andy Bodkin, O’Neil Dennis, Wizdom, Shaurav D’Silva, Luke Smith, Jonathan Tester, Nate Scott, Alex Davila, Jen O’Connell, Jenny Coomber and Ayo Oyerinde.
More than inspiration, the conference looks set to offer the kind of conversations that can help people build a good standing in music while still ensuring their day job or wider responsibilities do not suffer. For many people in Christian and Gospel music, that balance is one of the real challenges. It is not only about releasing songs or getting opportunities on stage. It is also about learning how to grow well, build wisely and remain sustainable.
With leading voices from across the industry expected in the room, Elevate Conference is shaping up to be an important moment for anyone paying attention to where Christian and Gospel music is heading. As the scene continues to gain more recognition and the conversation around it grows stronger, this feels like the kind of event that meets the moment well.
