Priscilla Bailey, UK solo gospel artist, is set to release her new album, Greater Love — a collection of songs themed around the love of God, inspired by the scripture John 15:13:
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
Priscilla wrote the album’s compositions during a time of reflection and isolation. Her signature retro Neo-Soul/RnB style is evident on each track, produced by various producers from around the world.
Track Overview:
- Track 1: Presence and Track 6: Mango Praise focus on being in the presence of God and communing with the Creator.
- Track 2: Beat of Love explores the heart of God and His commandment to love one another.
- Track 3: Abundant Life recounts her adventures abroad, where she found an extended Christian family.
- Track 4: Family reflects on what to expect when we are accepted into the family of God as newly born-again Christians.
- Track 5: Love Always Wins offers practical ways to show love for one another.
- Track 6: Mango Praise (as mentioned earlier) is not only about being in God’s presence but also relates to the scripture, “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.”
- Track 7: Greater Love, the album’s title track, speaks of Christ’s sacrifice for the world.
- Track 8: Thank You (Interlude) expresses Priscilla’s personal gratitude to God.
- Track 9: Mankind Rewind is about allowing Jesus to transform us from within so we can become more like Him and turn away from sin.
- Track 10: Nothing Can Separate Us is based on Romans 8:38–39, which reminds us that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
- Track 11: The Way shares Priscilla’s personal experience of God’s love towards her.
- Track 12: Heaven (featuring Charles Moorer) reflects on the promise of Heaven for those who believe.
- Bonus Track 13: Everything speaks of the omnipresence of God.
This marks Priscilla’s second album, following Walking in the Light, released on 2nd February 2018. She will be showcasing her new tracks at a listening party on 18th May via YouTube Live at 7 PM.
Priscilla believes that her latest project carries a powerful message, encouraging listeners to seek a deeper relationship with God during these challenging times.
She is now gaining recognition worldwide and has recently received nominations for several accolades:
- 2025 Prayze Factor Awards (USA) in multiple categories
- Gospel Xplosion Award for Best RnB Artist 2024 (achieved by public vote)
- StepFWD Awards Song of the Year 2023 in the RnB/Soul category
- Featured as a BBC Introducing artist in 2023 for Radio Essex.
Priscilla has collaborated with a number of artists, including US Billboard charting artist Charles Moorer Jr., American gospel artist Mike P. Fitzpatrick, Zimbabwean hip-hop artist Gosh Da Reel, and UK artists Kossi Bruno, Anae, and Blessed Man.
She regularly performs at both private and public events, including weddings, festivals, and open mic nights.
