StepFWD Awards is heading to The Lighthouse Theatre in Camberwell for its sixth annual ceremony on Saturday 21 November 2026, bringing together some of the biggest names in UK Christian and Gospel music for an evening of live performances, awards and celebration, all under this year’s theme: For HIS Glory.
The move to The Lighthouse Theatre marks an exciting development for the Awards, but at the heart of the evening remains the same purpose: to honour the people creating exceptional music while ultimately giving glory to the One who gave them the gift to create.
The Lighthouse Theatre has also become an increasingly attractive destination for Christian and Gospel music, welcoming major international and UK names to its stage. Artists such as Travis Greene, Chandler Moore and Bidemi have brought their music and ministry to the Camberwell venue, adding to its growing reputation as a home for significant Christian music events in London. It’s into this setting that StepFWD Awards will arrive in November, with an exciting lineup announcing soon. Anticipate a night that will bring together established names and some of the most exciting voices emerging across the UK Christian and Gospel scene.
The timing could not be more significant for AStepFWD. Earlier this year, the organisation partnered with the Official Charts Company to launch the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart, following more than a decade of work supporting and documenting the UK’s Christian and Gospel music scene through media, events and the UK Christian Charts.
The 2026 Awards will be the first major StepFWD ceremony since that landmark launch, with artists who have featured prominently on the Official Chart among those being invited to take part. The Awards have previously welcomed leading figures from across Christian music, including Tim Hughes, Muyiwa, Noel Robinson, Graham Kendrick and Lou Fellingham, alongside many of the artists who are now shaping the UK’s current scene.

This year’s ceremony will recognise excellence across the past year of music, while also acknowledging the contribution of artists, songwriters, producers, creatives and industry figures whose work continues to influence the culture.
The evening is guided by Romans 12:10: “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honour.”
O’Neil Dennis, Founder and CEO of AStepFWD, said:
“The Lighthouse Theatre is a great fit for where the Awards are now. We have some exceptional artists coming on board and the team are putting together a programme with some genuinely exciting moments. Following the launch of the Official Chart, there is a real sense of momentum around Christian and Gospel music in the UK, and we’re looking forward to bringing everyone together on 21 November.”
With a new venue, major artists being confirmed and the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart now firmly part of the UK music landscape, this year’s StepFWD Awards is shaping up to be a significant night for Christian and Gospel music. But beneath the performances, awards and red carpet, the focus remains unchanged: For HIS Glory.
Tickets are already on sale, with more performer announcements and details to be revealed in the coming weeks.
