Another week, another Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart, and THIS GOD by MIN.ADEOLUWA is still sitting at No.1.
The Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart is based on UK streams, downloads and sales, which means the songs on the chart reflect what listeners are actually playing, buying and engaging with each week.
This now makes it three weeks in a row at the top for THIS GOD. After breaking the recent pattern last week, the song has gone even further by holding the No.1 spot again. At this point, the journey of THIS GOD on the chart has become one of the interesting stories to follow, as it now becomes the second song after KUMBAYA by JERUB to spend more than two weeks at No.1.
What also makes this interesting is that THIS GOD is now in its 13th week on the chart. So while the song is still sitting at No.1, this is also its final week on the chart because of the 13-week rule. That alone makes next week one to watch.
Following closely is THERE’S THIS KING THAT I KNOW by Chantelle Rutendo at No.2. The song first reached No.1 in the sixth week of the chart and has continued to hold strong since then, staying mostly around the Top 10. It is also in its 13th week, which means both the No.1 and No.2 songs will be leaving the chart after this week.
So the big question now is, are we going to see a fresh No.1 next week, or will one of the songs already on the list step into the top spot?
HALLELUJAH (WORTHY IS THE LAMB) by Chosen Sounds and Florence Kisiwaa also moves up to No.3, while GUIDE ME II by Culture Cnnct and Soundsdubetter continues its steady movement, climbing to No.4.
EVERYTHING AND MORE by CalledOut Music, which entered straight at No.2 last week, moves down to No.5 this week. The song is still holding strong inside the Top 5, and CalledOut Music also has MY LOVE sitting at No.14, giving him two songs on the chart again.
One of the new entries this week is SOG (SONG OF GRATITUDE) by Ms Debola and Min.Adeoluwa, coming straight in at No.6. That is a strong entry, and it also means Min.Adeoluwa has two songs on the chart this week, with THIS GOD at No.1 and SOG at No.6.
GREEN LIGHT by Reggie Dartey and Obed moves to No.7, while PSALM 51 by Chantelle Rutendo climbs to No.8. PEACE by Hunnid2Hebron and Deca Ota stays at No.9, while EVERGREEN by Rend Collective completes the Top 10 at No.10.
There is also movement outside the Top 10. FINISHED BUSINESS by Imrhan and LeoStayTrill stays at No.11, while UP THERE by Reggie Dartey and Obed moves to No.12. COLE PALMER by Limoblaze, DC3 and Andy Mineo sits at No.13, and MY LOVE by CalledOut Music remains at No.14.
Further down the chart, we have two more new entries. LOOKING IV by Grandedi enters at No.15, while UNSTOPPABLE by Joe Hardy comes in at No.16. LOVE OF MY LIFE by McClure, Smith and McClure moves to No.17, while MADE A WAY by Y Shadey sits at No.18.
There are also two re-entries this week. SOMETHING NEW by Sondae and Crystal Mills returns at No.19, while O GOD WOULD YOU MOVE / AWAKE MY SOUL by Jesus Culture and KXC re-enters at No.20.
Another thing to notice this week is the number of artists with two songs on the chart. Min.Adeoluwa, Chantelle Rutendo, CalledOut Music, and Reggie Dartey and Obed all have two songs appearing on the list. That shows how some artists are not just entering the chart, but also holding more than one space at the same time.

Looking at the chart this week, there is a lot to take in. THIS GOD stays at No.1 for a third week, SOG enters straight into the Top 10, and we have three new songs joining the Top 20.
But more than that, next week already feels like a major one. With both the No.1 and No.2 songs leaving the chart after completing their 13 weeks, the door is now open for a new story at the top. That is one of the things that sets the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart apart, as songs make way after 13 weeks, giving room for new songs, fresh movement and more artists to be discovered.
