Having run a ministry with a strong outreach element on some of the toughest streets of South London, Pastor Sam Adetona of Harvest Mission became increasingly concerned about the growing lack of social cohesion and sense of hopelessness across diverse communities especially in urban areas. From this was born the vision for Revive Britain, an inspiring initiative to bring community leaders, charity groups and churches together for greater impact.

The main flagship event of Revive Britain at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster on 7-8 August 2026 will feature a huge mass choir from all across the capital. Having run local events in East, South, North and West London over the past 18 months, the Revive Britain team has been working hard behind the scenes to set up community based choirs open to everyone. No audition needed, just enthusiasm and commitment to supporting the project. This is an inclusive project with everyone welcome regardless of background.

“People are going through a lot so our aim is to remind each person in attendance that everyone has value and can make a difference, we are here to offer support and life-changing inspiration through community.” says Pastor Sam, visionary of Revive Britain.

Singing in a choir is known to have a powerful positive effect on individuals, breaking down barriers and creating a greater sense of belonging. In addition to the mass choir, Revive Britain will feature a live worship band and several familiar worship leaders including Philippa Hanna, Noel Robinson, Eric Reverence and Rose Alima Sam. A number of inspirational speakers and organisations will also be contributing to the day’s programme.
