The 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, bringing together Christian and Gospel artists, songwriters and music industry professionals for one of the biggest nights in Christian music.
Hosted by Tauren Wells, this year’s ceremony saw Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake and Josiah Queen emerge as the biggest winners, each taking home three awards.
Phil Wickham was named Artist of the Year, one of the most anticipated awards of the night. He also won Worship Album of the Year for Song of the Saints.
It was also a big night for Josiah Queen, whose song Dusty Bibles won Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year.
Brandon Lake added three more Dove Awards to his collection, including Songwriter of the Year (Artist) and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year for King of Hearts. His collaboration with country music star Lainey Wilson, The Jesus I Know Now, also won Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year.
Jamie MacDonald celebrated a major milestone in her career as she was named New Artist of the Year.
Tasha Cobbs Leonard picked up two awards, winning Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year for TASHA and Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year for Church, her collaboration with John Legend.
CeCe Winans was also among the winners, receiving Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year for More Than This, featuring Todd Dulaney. This marked her second consecutive win in the category.
