Vocal Masterclass follows on from January’s hugely successful Songwriting Masterclass which saw world-renowned songwriters join with over 160 attendees for an inspiring day filled with tips, techniques and practical information. This day was a special, rare, and unique time together, and we can’t wait to get to do it again, this time with our focus on all things vocals, on Saturday 27th February.

Olivia is the founder of The Music Confectionery Ltd, an agency that provides the best background vocalists, session singers and choirs for live shows, studio recording sessions and touring. Having developed a keen ear for music from an early age, Olivia’s musical ability is rooted in the church where she mastered her craft. Decades later Olivia has transferred the key elements of her gospel vocal training to the world of Pop, R&B, Grime and Hip Hop, having worked with Stormzy, Ellie Goulding, Ella Henderson, Emeli Sande, Rag n Bone Man, Calvin Harris, Hamzaa, Kathy Sledge, JP Cooper, Maverick Sabre, Dave, Jorja Smith, John Legend, Lion Babe, Jason Derulo and many more.
2019 was an epic year for Olivia as a Vocal Director, culminating in the spectacular performance with Stormzy at Glastonbury. Responsible for pulling together the vocal arrangements and singers for a breathtaking and memorable spectacle that Olivia delivered with ease, with the media calling it ‘historic’. In 2020 Olivia put together the backing vocalists and choir for Stormzy’s Brit Award performance featuring Burna Boy and Tiana Major.
Olivia has also worked on ‘Little Mix- The Search‘ Talent TV Show as a vocal coach and as a backing vocalist for The Voice TV Show. The Music Confectionery Ltd prides itself on delivering quality and personalised service for the artists it works with.
