JERUB Continues to Hold Top Spot as the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart Continues to Shift

UK singer-songwriter JERUB continues his run at the top of the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart, as Kumbaya holds the No.1 spot for the third week in a row.

The chart, introduced by the Official Charts Company in collaboration with AStepFWD, tracks the most popular Christian and Gospel songs across the UK using official streaming and sales data.

While the top spot remains unchanged, this week’s chart sees a number of notable movements across the Top 20.

Rend Collective continues to maintain a strong presence, with Salt & Light holding firm at No.2, while Do It All Alone also remains in the Top 10, giving the band two entries once again this week. CalledOut Music also joins the list of artists with multiple entries, with Ancient of Days / Open the Eyes of My Heart at No.5 and Shine Jesus Shine at No.6. Chantelle Rutendo also maintains two spots in the Top 5, with My Heart Your Home at No.3 and Psalm 51 at No.4, as both songs remain in the Top 4 for the third week in a row.

While the Top 4 remains unchanged from last week’s chart, there are some notable movements just outside it. CalledOut Music sees a strong moment this week as Ancient of Days / Open the Eyes of My Heart moves up from No.6 to No.5, while his other song Shine Jesus Shine takes the No.6 spot.

Annatoria also returns to the Top 10 with In The Middle, while Yahweh (Godiya Gareka) by Limoblaze, Kaestrings, and Joe L makes its way back into the Top 10 as well.

There are also re-entries on the chart this week. The Devil Is A Liar by Imrhan returns at No.14, while Yahweh (Godiya Gareka) by Limoblaze, Kaestrings and Joe L also re-enters the Top 10. O God Would You Move / Awake My Soul by Jesus Culture and KXC also returns to the chart, alongside Life & Breath by Matt Redman, which comes in at No.20.

Also on the chart this week is Min. Adeoluwa with Holy Ghost, which sits at No.15, following his previous entry This God, which was at No.18 last week.

The chart remains interesting this week with three new songs entering the Top 20. These include Shine Jesus Shine by CalledOut Music at No.6, Holy Ghost by Min. Adeoluwa at No.15, and Hallelujah by Deca Ota and Hunnid2Hebron.

While CalledOut Music and Min. Adeoluwa are already familiar names on the chart, Deca Ota and Hunnid2Hebron introduce a new name to this week’s chart.

The diversity across the chart remains clear, with sounds ranging from contemporary worship and gospel to Afro-influenced rhythms and modern pop expressions, showing how wide and dynamic the Christian and Gospel scene in the UK has become.
