Inside This Week’s Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart

Another week, another Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart, and we have a brand-new No.1! After Cammy Barnes and Rend Collective reclaimed the top spot last week, ‘Greatness’ by Bethel Music, Aubree Archibeck and Martin Smith arrives straight at No.1, bringing their reign to an end. This week also welcomes four new entries, including IMRHAN making an impressive Top 5 debut, while several familiar songs continue to battle for positions across the Top 20.

‘Greatness’ by Bethel Music, Aubree Archibeck and Martin Smith takes the No.1 position in its very first week. For the first time in the history of the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart, a collaboration featuring two artists from outside the UK alongside a British artist has reached No.1. The song brings together American worship collective Bethel Music, American worship leader Aubree Archibeck and British worship leader Martin Smith, entering straight at the top of the chart.

For Cammy Barnes and Rend Collective, ‘Something More’ moves down one place to No.2 after returning to No.1 last week. The song has now spent nine weeks on the chart, including three weeks at the top. With four weeks remaining before completing its 13-week run, could it find its way back to No.1 again?

At No.3, ‘Alpha And Omega (Revelation 1:8)’ by MIN.ADEOLUWA and Brenique Adams continues its climb, moving up from No.4 and reaching a new peak in its seventh week on the chart.

Now to one of this week’s biggest talking points!

The 2025 StepFWD Male Artist of the Year, IMRHAN, makes an impressive debut at No.4 with ‘Christian Way’. It is the second-highest new entry of the week and another notable moment for the UK Afrogospel and rap artist. The song speaks about his Christian identity, faith and the journey he has taken since leaving behind his earlier music career. Entering straight into the Top 5 is certainly a good way to begin its chart journey.

‘Make A Way’ by Tim Hughes moves down from No.3 to No.5 in its tenth week, while ‘Jesus Soldier’ by Y Shadey drops from No.2 to No.6. After making that incredible ten-place jump last week, Y Shadey remains comfortably inside the Top 10.

‘Lord I Wanna Know Ya’ by Sondae moves from No.5 to No.7, but there is more good news for Sondae further down the chart, with another song joining the Top 20 this week.

‘Kunta In UK’ by DC3 climbs two places from No.10 to No.8, while ‘We Praise You/Worthy Of It All’ by Jake & Mates moves down from No.7 to No.9.

Closing the Top 10 is ‘Heaven’ by Unglued, TJB and Esther Durin, moving from No.6 to No.10 in its eighth week on the chart.

Now, let’s look at the remaining new entries.

At No.11, ‘Mona Lisa’ by Sondae makes its debut, giving the artist two songs on the chart this week. With ‘Lord I Wanna Know Ya’ already at No.7, Sondae continues to enjoy a good run, and it will be interesting to see how the new release performs.

The fourth new entry comes from Celtic Worship with ‘Prince Of Peace’, arriving at No.19. It is another worship release joining the chart, beginning its journey just inside the Top 20.

That gives us four new entries this week, with two landing straight inside the Top 5 and another just outside the Top 10. Interestingly, there are no re-entries this week, quite a contrast to last week’s five returning songs.

Outside the Top 10, ‘W’ate Manim (You Have Honoured Me)’ by Diana Hamilton moves from No.8 to No.12 in its third week, while ‘Hosanna Hosanna’ by Jake & Mates drops from No.9 to No.13.

‘What A God’ by Joel Barber and Chroma Worship sits at No.14, moving down one place, while ‘Runaway Heart’ by Rend Collective drops from No.11 to No.15.

‘Gethsemane’ by Worship Culture Collective moves from No.14 to No.16 in its second week. ‘Ekballo’ by KAC Music follows at No.17, while ‘We Desire’ by Chosen Sounds featuring Chantelle Rutendo moves down one place to No.18.

Completing the chart at No.20 is ‘Guide Me’ by DuBetter, holding the same position as last week.

There are also a few artists enjoying double appearances this week. Rend Collective have ‘Something More’ at No.2 alongside Cammy Barnes and ‘Runaway Heart’ at No.15. Sondae appears at No.7 with ‘Lord I Wanna Know Ya’ and No.11 with the new entry ‘Mona Lisa’, while Jake & Mates have ‘We Praise You/Worthy Of It All’ at No.9 and ‘Hosanna Hosanna’ at No.13.

Here are the Top 10 songs on the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart for this week:

  1. GREATNESS – BETHEL MUSIC/AUBREE ARCHIBECK/MARTIN SMITH
  2. SOMETHING MORE – CAMMY BARNES/REND COLLECTIVE
  3. ALPHA AND OMEGA (REVELATION 1:8) – MIN.ADEOLUWA/BRENIQUE ADAM
  4. CHRISTIAN WAY – IMRHAN
  5. MAKE A WAY – TIM HUGHES
  6. JESUS SOLDIER – Y SHADEY
  7. LORD I WANNA KNOW YA – SONDAE
  8. KUNTA IN UK – DC3
  9. WE PRAISE YOU/ WORTHY OF IT ALL – JAKE & MATES
  10. HEAVEN & STARS – UNGLUED/TJB/ESTHER DURIN

Looking at this week’s chart, there is quite a contrast to what we saw last week. After five re-entries dominated the conversation, this week belongs to the new releases, with ‘Greatness’ taking No.1, IMRHAN entering the Top 5 and Sondae adding another song to the chart.

Meanwhile, ‘Something More’ remains close to the summit, and ‘Alpha And Omega’ continues its steady climb, now reaching No.3.

With another new chart-topper arriving this week, the big question is whether ‘Greatness’ will hold on to No.1 or whether Cammy Barnes and Rend Collective can reclaim the top spot once again.

Could ‘Alpha And Omega’ continue its climb, or might IMRHAN’s ‘Christian Way’ make an unexpected move towards the summit?

We will find out when the next Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart arrives.
