Inside This Week’s Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart

Another week, another Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart, and this week gives us a very interesting No.1 story. We have a new song at the top, four new entries, one re-entry and plenty of movement across the Top 20.

Leading the way this week is “Guide Me II” by Culture, DuBetter, Chantelle Rutendo and CNNCT SOUNDS, which climbs from No.2 to No.1 in its 10th week on the chart. It also gives us the first No.1 moment with four credited artists on one song, making this week’s top spot even more interesting.

And of course, Chantelle Rutendo being part of the song adds another beautiful layer to the story. She remains the only female artist to have reached No.1 on the chart so far, and this week she is part of another chart-topping moment, alongside Culture, DuBetter and CNNCT SOUNDS.

Last week’s No.1, “SOG (Song of Gratitude)” by Ms Debola and MIN.ADEOLUWA, moves down to No.2 this week, but still holds a very strong position in its third week on the chart.

One of the biggest moves this week comes from “IRE (Voice of Triumph) Psalm 47:1” by MIN ADEOLUWA, which climbs from No.11 to No.3 in just its second week. That is a major jump and shows the song is already gaining strong momentum.

“Evergreen” by Rend Collective also moves up from No.9 to No.4, while “Green Light” by Reggie Dartey and Obed climbs from No.6 to No.5, giving both songs new positions inside the Top 5.

There are also a few artists showing strong presence with more than one song on the chart this week. Chantelle Rutendo appears at No.1 on “Guide Me II” and also at No.6 with “My Heart Your Home”. MIN ADEOLUWA appears at No.2 on “SOG (Song of Gratitude)” and also at No.3 with “IRE (Voice of Triumph) Psalm 47:1”. Reggie Dartey and Obed appear twice with “Green Light” at No.5 and “Up There” at No.7, while CalledOut Music also appears twice with “Everything And More” at No.8 and “My Love” at No.15. Marizu also has two appearances this week, with “Rise Up” alongside LIN D at No.10 and “Good Shepherd” re-entering at No.19.

This week also welcomes four new entries into the Top 20. “Rise Up” by LIN D and Marizu enters at No.10, “This Town” by Peter118 comes in at No.12, “Rest II” by 116, Limoblaze and Reggie Dartey enters at No.13, while “Joy” by Martin Smith joins the chart at No.16.

The only re-entry this week is “Good Shepherd” by Marizu, which returns at No.19. It is another reminder that songs can still find their way back into the chart when listeners continue to connect with them.
