British-Nigerian Gospel artist and producer Evans Ogboi has released his brand-new single, ‘Worthy’, a simple worship song focused on the worthiness of God and giving Him the praise He deserves.
‘Heavenly Father, You are worthy of all our praise’ opens up the heart of the song, before Evans moves into the repeated declaration, ‘You are worthy, worthy, worthy, You are worthy of our praise.’
The song does not try to complicate worship. It stays around that one declaration, giving space for the words to sink in and for listeners to join in. As the phrase is repeated, it becomes more than just the chorus of a song, it feels like a response of worship to who God is.
