Choir Masterclass also a massive success and ‘best so far’ of empowerment series

What a fantastic time we had yesterday at the Choir Masterclass! It certainly was a most substantial gathering of some of the best names in choir directing from the USA to the EU to the UK. The speakers were all amazing from beginning right through to the end: Anu Omideyi, John Fisher BEM, Lawrence Johnson, Audrey Mattis, Russell Scott, Volney Morgan, Bazil Meade MBE, Tore Aas, Ruth Waldron, Lea Kjeldsen, Lene Nørrelykke, Paolo Viana, Ken Burton, Karen Gibson MBE and Donald Lawrence.

The conversations were honest, open and very insightful with attendees truly appreciative of the wisdom and experience of a collective hundreds of years worth of experience. With representation from around the world, the impact continues to reverberate as evidenced from the many feedback messages we’ve been receiving already. Beyond the specific inspiration and empowerment that many came for, there was also a sense that this coming together and indeed the witnessing of this coming together at the highest level, was really needed especially in these times.

We are incredibly thankful for each of the speakers who gave freely of their time to Play It FWD and in so doing helped us reach 25% of the JustGiving campaign target. A massive thanks to the sponsors whose support made the event possible and to the SFL team, who did a brilliant job on the production throughout. Much love also to the kind donors from across the UK, USA, Argentina, Norway, Ireland, Canada, Italy, Poland, Denmark, Switzerland and France amongst other countries. And to top it all off, some gracious attendees pledged to sponsor 6 children with Compassion, from a life of poverty!

With an impressive line-up, all three masterclasses; Songwriting, Vocal and Choir (3rd and final in 2021 series), have delivered so much more than we could have possibly imagined. The teaching has been impeccable, the experience like no other, and the insight on point!

Choir Masterclass VIP ticket holders will receive the re-watch link on Monday 26th April and have access for 14 days.

More information coming this week for those who missed this or any of the masterclasses and would like to get access to the series recordings.
