AStepFWD is delighted to announce the appointment of Dami Ade as its first Head of Music, a leadership role established to provide strategic direction across the organisation’s expanding music portfolio.
The significant step comes at a pivotal time for AStepFWD following the launch of the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart in partnership with the Official Charts Company. As the organisation continues to expand its work across charting, artist development, music discovery and industry engagement, Dami will work closely with the Leadership Team to help shape the next chapter of Christian and Gospel music in the UK.

A respected Record Producer, Audio Engineer and Music Manager, Dami is the founder of New Damention Studios (NDS), an audio branding and production agency serving artists and founder-led businesses. He is also a Recording Academy (GRAMMY) Voting Member, with production and engineering credits across Motown Gospel, Universal Capitol and Reach Records. He holds degrees in Media Technology from Kingston University and Audio Engineering from the School of Audio Engineering.
Dami has built an impressive career across both the UK and United States. While based in Dallas, Texas, he ran a successful recording studio, working with artists including Sinach, Limoblaze and Jonathan Traylor, while also producing for UK Gospel artists such as Faith Child, Guvna B, Triple O and Rachel Kerr. Alongside his production work, he served for seven years as Music & Media Director at a local church, combining creative excellence with ministry leadership.
Back in the UK, his London studio has helped develop independent artists who have gone on to tour with some of the biggest names in the music industry and perform on global stages including the Super Bowl and the GRAMMY Awards.

Having worked extensively across both the UK and US Christian and Gospel music industries, Dami is passionate about building stronger connections between the two markets. He brings valuable experience, trusted industry relationships and a heart for developing artists and creatives.
As Head of Music, Dami will provide leadership across AStepFWD’s music strategy, helping strengthen artist engagement, music discovery, strategic partnerships and the continued development of the organisation’s charting platforms. His appointment reflects AStepFWD’s ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for artists, strengthening the wider Christian and Gospel music community and positioning the genre for greater influence within the UK’s music landscape.
