The 2nd annual Premier Gospel Awards takes place tonight the 22nd of April at the Rock Tower and with tickets completely SOLD OUT, for the year’s most spectacular and biggest celebration of Gospel music in the UK. The nominees list includes some of the most prolific names in the Gospel scene.
With almost all names appearing at some point in the Top 10 listing of UK Christian Chart, we are particularly proud to have worked alongside Premier Gospel’s initiative which recognises the hard work and celebrates the excellent achievements of artists across the country over the past year.
2016 winners included Lurine Cato (pictured above) – Best Female; Faith Child – Best Male; Noel Robinson – Best Album; Ekklesia – Best Video; V9 Collective – Best Song and J Vessel – Best Newcomer to name a few. In addition to these categories, this year Premier Gospel presenters will hand out Choir of the Year, Best International and Best Group, totalling 9 awards (one more than in 2016).
The capacity crowd will be entertained by performances and appearances from favourite Gospel artists and personalities, including Volney Morgan & New Ye, Andrew Bello, Zoe Grace, Jennifer Phillips and more.
