Tell us a little bit about your album “More Than Yesterday”, what is the inspiration behind it? 

More Than Yesterday is, I suppose, a compilation of snippets of my journey up to this point. The inspiration for the songs is life, my journey with God, my experiences of  trauma and healing. The doubts, fears, the questions and frustrations, the gratitude and the praise.

What is your favourite song on the album and why?

This question is not fair, I don’t really have a favourite. I guess each one each song is special and powerful to me in its own way, I love them all. Ok so I think for a testimony of triumph it would be Restored Reprise because it is a new take on a very personal song for me ‘Restored’ and if we’re talking about assurance then I would say ‘Persuaded’. Because we all need to be reminded, in the frailty of our humanity, that nothing shall separate from the love of God.

If you had a chance to work with any one person who would it be and why?

Again guys, wow, There are a few but I would love to work with Gregory Porter!!

What are your proudest moments of your music career?

When my song ‘Restored’ was scored for and performed with Ensemble Animató Orchestra. I would love to do the whole album like that.

Can you tell us any plans you have for your future in music?

Future plans are to tour the album in various venues and settings to reach a wider audience. I’ll be at the 606 Jazz club in November and I have a tour coming up in Germany. I’ll keep you posted
