Tori Kelly is a Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter known for her powerful voice and the way she moves easily across pop, R&B, soul and gospel. Over the years, she has continued to share music that carries different parts of her life, faith and personal journey.

She has now released her sixth studio album, “God Must Really Love Me“, a 15-track project that gives listeners another chance to hear where she is musically and personally at this point in her life.

Sharing her thoughts about the album on Instagram, Tori revealed that writing the songs brought her so much peace. She said she hopes the album gives listeners permission to slow down, exhale and be present while listening. She also thanked everyone supporting the project and ended her message with, “Thank you JESUS.”

In an interview about the album, Tori also spoke about how becoming a mother affected her writing. She initially thought motherhood might make her step away from writing for a while, but the songs continued to come.

That part of her journey can also be heard on the album. On the track Too Much, the cry of a baby can be heard, adding a very personal touch to the song and connecting it directly to her new season as a mother.

The album includes songs such as Without You, Control, Pray For You, Too Much, Name of Jesus and Psalm 46:10. Across the project, Tori shares different sides of herself while still giving listeners the strong vocals and soulful sound she is known for.
