Filming is currently taking place for the fourth season of the popular Christian TV series, “The Chosen”. A recent behind-the-scenes video on YouTube has led to backlash online, due to a brief segment of the video which shows a small pride flag on set.
“We are not a church” was part of the response given by Dallas Jenkins, the creator and showrunner, in an interview with The Christian Post. He explains that being a believer is not a requirement for working on the set of The Chosen and that his requirements are primarily based on skillset and work ethic.
He also stated in the interview that he is happy to be a witness to people of different beliefs and backgrounds, talking about how there are numerous people who have come to the faith as a result of working on the set. You can watch the full interview HERE.
