St. Albans group Total Praise UK with single ‘When The Lord Comes Down’

Total Praise UK, is a group of international vocalists based in St Albans, UK and they have recently released their new single ‘When The Lord Comes Down’. Just over three years ago they came together with the same goal, which is to spread the Gospel through music to everyone.

Their style is a mixture of Richard Smallwood, Hillsong, Fred Hammond, Bebe & Cece Winans and Kirk Franklin combined and the group hope to be able to reach the unreached in all corners of the globe and that everyone will be blessed by the messages in their songs and be drawn closer to the Almighty, Jesus Christ.

Total Praise UK are Winners of the 2015 PGMA Gospel Music Awards in the “choir” and “group” category and runners up in the Battle of the Choirs competition held in London. They also had the #10 position in the Step FWD UK Christian Chart for August 2015. They have been previously featured on BBC Radio Three Counties and Premier Gospel Radio, UGN Radio, Colourful Radio and the local radio station Radio Verulam.

Well known artist Paul B Allen III (of The Platters) had this to say regarding the groups new hit single ‘When The Lord Comes Down’;

“Every time I hear a new song by this group, I am amazed. They have the uncanny ability of mixing gospel with several other musical genres, and it always sounds new, refreshing and fantastic! The songwriting is excellent, the vocalists are phenomenal, the arrangements are innovative and pristine. They are taking Gospel to a new level, and taking a lot of us along for the ride.”

Over the past year they have partnered with a charity named Adventist Frontier Mission (AFM) in order to raise funds to assist the charity in their mission work to ‘reach the unreached’.

Besides ‘When The Lord Comes Down’ they have released three singles with an album on the way. ‘No Other Name but God’, ‘Psalm 103’, and ‘The Plea’ are all available online for streaming at reverbnation and the first two are available for purchase on iTunes and all other major music distribution websites.
