Tom McConnell has just released his new single ‘Between the Trees’ inspired by a God-encounter in Barcelona and an upcoming Naomi Hancock video (out on 22nd January) featuring colourful video synthesisers, cathedral architecture and footage shot on location in central London.

Tom says, “This is the second track I’ve been brave enough to produce and release completely independently from my home studio. The combining factors of having more time to shape the sounds myself and recording in a London flat have directed me to record lots of electronic instruments like the OP-1 because they don’t disturb the neighbours like guitar amps and acoustic drums would!”

With over a quarter of a million Spotify streams on his previous material, the London-based Irish singer-songwriter and worship pastor is no stranger to creative explorations and the accompanying accolades when met with success.

Indeed the concoction of alt-pop & electronic soul sounds that is ‘Between The Trees’ is certainly one that might just change things for him dramatically.
