Nashville-recorded Christian artist Juliet Dawn has released her new album, “Born To Be,” a collection of songs centred on hope, healing and overcoming life’s challenges.

Recorded at The Castle Recording Studio in Nashville, the project was produced by Billy Smiley, best known for his work with Christian rock band White Heart. The album was completed during an intensive five-week recording session that brought together Juliet, producer Billy Smiley and Juliet’s mother, Pastor Brenda Taylor, who also contributed as a songwriter and composer.

The result is an 11-track album that blends contemporary Christian music with elements of soul, pop and touches of Nashville country. From uplifting songs to reflective ballads and powerful anthems, “Born To Be” takes listeners on a personal journey of faith, resilience and restoration.

What makes the album stand out is the story behind it. Many of the songs draw from Juliet’s own experiences of overcoming trauma, grief, adversity and personal struggles. Rather than simply telling those stories, the album points listeners towards God’s faithfulness, offering encouragement to anyone walking through difficult seasons.

Backed by some of Nashville’s leading session musicians, the album carries a polished yet heartfelt sound, allowing the message behind each song to remain at the forefront. Juliet’s soulful vocals and honest songwriting give every track a sense of authenticity, making “Born To Be” more than just a collection of songs, but a testimony of God’s grace and hope.

The release also marks the beginning of a new chapter for Juliet Dawn. She has already confirmed that another project, “The Soul Sessions,” an EP recorded during the same Nashville sessions, is expected later this year.
