There is a shift happening in London’s day party scene and as Christians, we are very much here for it. Last week, the Grace Brand took another side of London in Tottenham with The Grace Brunch: “Holy Girls & Boys Summer”. Sunday proved to be a successful follow-up to previous Grace Brunch editions held in Brixton and Croydon, making it the brand’s third outing within the last year.
It is refreshing to see alternatives to the big city’s party and rave scene rising for Christians. Who says your best days are over when you give your life to Christ? Today, we invite you to another party that dispels that notion.
SIMCHA: The Day Party Xperience holds on Sunday 4th of August 2024 at Fire Lounge in Vauxhall. The event will feature 3 DJs (DJ Sir Mixalot, DJ Yung Milli, Aaron Mkd) playing strictly gospel music as well as a 1 hour Saxophone set. There will also be a food garden which will have a variety of arcade games for attendees to enjoy in an environment created for believers of any denomination to vibe, chill and fellowship in community.
SIMCHA is a brand founded by Tolu Ajidagba (V4C Concepts) and Victor Allen (Reuel Entertainment). Tolu describes it as an initiative “aimed at redefining the Christian social space and changing the perception that Christians don’t have fun.”
One of the outlets SIMCHA aims to use to achieve this with is via events. “The Day Party Xperience” promises to be one you will not want to miss. Tolu adds that “The event is an outlet for Christians to get social and a signpost for non believers on what is obtainable, especially with the recent spotlight on AfroGospel music.”
