Following a live launch on Thursday 8th December to a warmly responsive audience at the Apple Store in Westfield White City, Premier Gospel are now officially Apple Music curators. Excited about the possibilities this brings, the first of five playlists to be celebrated is “Ultimate Choir” fittingly launched instore with a captivating acapella performance by The Spirituals. The Ultimate Choir playlist also features groups such as The Kingdom Choir and Volney Morgan & New-Ye.
The collaboration will bring Premier Gospel a fresh opportunity to champion gospel music by introducing it to new audiences via the Apple Music platform. This follows on from an earlier collaboration in September around the launch of The Gospel Heritage playlist, showcasing UK gospel artists that have influenced not only gospel music but also popular culture.
Fresh from headlining the prestigious Step FWD Awards last month, The Spirituals are performing at the iconic Union Chapel on 15th December, so if you missed their latest Apple Store live, there is another opportunity to be blessed by their beautiful vocal harmonies within days!
