New UK worship collective – Foreign Praise – releases debut single ‘I AM’

New single ‘I AM’ is the first in a series of releases from Foreign Praise, a new worship music initiative that brings together singers, worship leaders, musicians and songwriters with the aim of creating songs and releasing music that will spiritually impact a new generation.

MOBO Award winner Volney Morgan & New Ye, former BBC Voice contestant Jason N Porter, Sandra Luke, Roger Samuels and Marcia W Thomas were amongst the singers featured in this debut single recorded at a Foreign Praise event held at The Front Room in Croydon.

‘I AM’ is a song that aims to remind listeners of God’s transformative power. It was composed during a Foreign Praise writing camp. Sandra Luke, one of the featured singers said: “This song reminds me how important it is to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. The lyrics are simple but profound and are a reminder of the great God that we serve.’’

Worship leader Marcia Walder-Thomas also featured is very excited about being part of the Foreign Praise Collective. She said, ”Foreign Praise has given us freedom to be ourselves and space to express yourself in worship with no inhibitions or limitations.’’Sam Facey, co-founder of Churchboyz and co-owner of Little Robin said, “I AM will be the first in a series of releases produced by Foreign Praise. This Collective will bring together some of Britain’s best Christian music creatives including the new generation of up-and-coming worshippers. We seek to create music that is fresh, exciting and spiritually uplifting.”
