Limoblaze teams up with Teninlanimi on ‘Ayaya’, one of the songs from his Father’s Love EP.
The message is really about what grace has done. Limoblaze looks at his old life and the person he has become in Christ. He was once dead in sin, but that is no longer the man you see. God’s amazing grace reached him when he was down and gave him a new life.
And while the message goes deep, the sound is a celebration.
‘Ayaya’ blends Afrobeats with a popular Igbo song, with different Nigerian languages coming together across the track. It gives the song that familiar Nigerian feel, the kind of sound you can connect with even before you have caught every word.
Teninlanimi also brings plenty of energy to it. She comes in naturally and adds her own flavour to the song, making the collaboration even more lively.
That is what makes ‘Ayaya’ an interesting part of Father’s Love. It is talking about grace, salvation and becoming a new person, but Limoblaze and Teninlanimi are not telling that story quietly. They are celebrating it.
