Many know him as the founder and frontman of the punk grime group Astroid Boys. However Traxx has left the group and is on a different solo path with his debut single release ‘Spiritual War’. He openly discusses his departure in this Squeeze Radio Interview.
Our friends over at Vessel Music reminded us of the artist talking about his transition from previously making music with Astroid Boyz to becoming a Christian, documented across his social media. The page also shows him rapping on Charlie Sloth’s ‘Fire In The Booth’
In ‘Spiritual War’ he unapologetically expresses his dependence on God the reality of the war within. Although the song has a punk vibe to it, you can tell Traxx is experimenting with new sounds.
‘I’m in a spiritual war, and it’s life or death out here what do you think I’m praying for’.
We’re keeping our eyes out for this talented newcomer to the UK Christian & Gospel music scene.
