Lambert Omekoko joins AStepFWD as Content Manager, bringing a strong blend of creativity and faith to the team across all social media channels. Based in Lincoln, UK and originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, he carries a deep passion for using content and media to help people encounter Jesus and engage meaningfully with Christian and Gospel culture.
In his new role, Lambert will help shape content across the platform with a clear desire to help people encounter Jesus. From digital storytelling to campaigns, artist features, and wider platform messaging, his work will help ensure the voice of AStepFWD remains clear, relevant, and connected to the culture. He is passionate about building a culture where Christ is known, especially within the Christian and Gospel space.
What sits at the centre of Lambert’s journey is his love for people and his desire to help others grow closer to Jesus. That is part of what shapes the work he does and the way he carries himself. For him, creativity is not just about making content, but about using what he has to bring hope, encouragement, and something lasting to others.
He is driven by the vision of becoming an anchor for people searching for faith and a voice that points people towards hope and change. That sense of purpose continues to shape his contribution at AStepFWD and the wider impact he hopes to make through creativity, leadership, and a Christ-centred life.
“Lambert represents something really important for where the Church and Christian media are right now,” says founder and CEO O’Neil Dennis. “We are in a season where younger voices need to be seen and heard. There is a real shift happening in how people are engaging with church, and part of that is making sure they can see themselves reflected in the spaces shaping that conversation.
At AStepFWD, we believe reaching this generation requires more than good media; it requires the right people behind it. Lambert has the attitude and aptitude for the task ahead, and we’re excited to see his creativity, his leadership and growth help build something that impacts this generation and the ones to come.”
As the only boy in a family of four children, with three sisters, Lambert values family and the role it has played in shaping who he is. That sense of responsibility continues to influence the way he leads and serves.
His favourite song, Thank You Jesus by Hillsong Worship, reflects the heart of gratitude and worship that runs through his story. It speaks to the faith that grounds him and the reason behind the work he does.
Lambert’s appointment marks an exciting step for AStepFWD as the organisation continues to grow its voice across Christian and Gospel media. His journey is marked by a desire to serve God faithfully, inspire others, and make a meaningful impact through the life he lives and the work he does.
