CeCe Winans has released “More Than This (Deluxe)” , two years after the original album first came out.
The deluxe edition expands the project from 13 songs to 20, adding seven tracks to the body of work. We Pray stands as the only brand-new song on the deluxe, while the other additions come as radio edits, single versions and fresh collaborations on songs already connected to the original album.
Among the added tracks are Worthy Of It All (Worthy), More Than This – Radio Edit featuring Todd Dulaney, Come Jesus Come featuring Cody Johnson, Come Jesus Come featuring Shirley Caesar, Come Jesus Come – Radio Version, and That’s My King – Single Version.
In a post shared around the release, CeCe spoke about how the songs from More Than This have continued to minister to people in a way she does not take lightly, while also sharing her belief that God is not finished with the album yet.
That is what gives the deluxe release its meaning. It is not just about making the album longer, but allowing the songs to keep reaching people in a fresh way.
With We Pray, CeCe adds a new moment to the project, keeping the focus on God’s presence and worship that speaks beyond the music itself.
