Another week, another Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart, and THIS GOD by MIN.ADEOLUWA is still sitting at No.1.
After climbing to the top last week, the song has held on for another week, making it two weeks in a row at No.1. This is quite interesting because since KUMBAYA by JERUB ended its long run at the top, we had three different No.1 songs in three consecutive weeks.
First, FINISHED BUSINESS by Imrhan and LeoStayTrill took the No.1 spot, then REST MY HEAD by GUVNA B followed, before THIS GOD climbed to No.1 last week. But this week, that pattern has finally been broken, with THIS GOD staying at the top for another week.
Another thing to note is that THIS GOD now joins the list of songs that have stayed at No.1 for at least two weeks. KUMBAYA by JERUB was the first, followed by VALLEY by Thiago and DC3, and now THIS GOD by MIN.ADEOLUWA joins that list.
One of the big entries this week is EVERYTHING AND MORE by CalledOut Music, which comes straight in at No.2. The song is his new release, and coming into the chart this high already says a lot about the support around it.
CalledOut Music also joins the list of artists with two songs on the chart this week, with EVERYTHING AND MORE at No.2 and MY LOVE at No.14.
THERE’S THIS KING THAT I KNOW by Chantelle Rutendo moves up to No.3, while HALLELUJAH (WORTHY IS THE LAMB) by Chosen Sounds and Florence Kisiwaa moves to No.4. GUIDE ME II by Culture Cnnct and Soundsdubetter also continues to move well, climbing to No.5.
Another interesting thing this week is Reggie Dartey and Obed having two new songs inside the Top 10. GREEN LIGHT enters at No.6, while UP THERE enters at No.8. That is a strong week for both artists, especially with two songs landing in the Top 10 at the same time.
EVERGREEN by Rend Collective moves to No.7, while PEACE by Hunnid2Hebron and Deca Ota makes a big move from No.20 to No.9. PSALM 51 by Chantelle Rutendo completes the Top 10, giving Chantelle two songs in the Top 10 again this week.
Further down the chart, FINISHED BUSINESS by Imrhan and LeoStayTrill moves to No.11 after spending time around the top end of the chart. COLE PALMER by Limoblaze, DC3 and Andy Mineo sits at No.12.
Marizu also has a good week on the chart after releasing his new EP. GOOD SHEPHERD enters at No.13, while JOY comes in at No.16. With songs from the project already entering the chart, it shows that listeners are already connecting with the new release.
There are also more movements in the second half of the chart. ONLY WHAT GOD CAN GIVE by Sondae moves up to No.15, TRUMPETS by Y Shadey sits at No.17, LOVE OF MY LIFE by McClure, Smith and McClure re-enters at No.18, HALLELUJAH by Hunnid2Hebron and Deca Ota sits at No.19, while MADE A WAY by Y Shadey re-enters at No.20.

Looking at the chart this week, there is a lot to talk about. THIS GOD retains the No.1 spot for another week, breaking the recent pattern of a different No.1 every week. We also have four new songs entering the chart and three artists with two songs each: CalledOut Music, Reggie Dartey and Obed, and Marizu.
With all these movements happening at once, next week’s chart will definitely be interesting to watch.
