The Gospel Music Industry Alliance (GMIA) recently announced its participation in the first-ever SXSW London music festival, presenting a powerful and uplifting showcase on Thursday, 5 June 2025, at the iconic Shoreditch Church, 119 Shoreditch High St, London E1 6JN.
Curated by GMIA, this unforgettable evening will feature an extraordinary lineup of gospel talent, including Kingdom Choir, Clive Brown Urban Sound, University Gospel Choir of the Year 2025 winners Kent Gospel Choir, and Liverpool Lighthouse Combined Choirs (Love & Joy Gospel Choir and Lighthouse Choir). The showcase promises a dynamic celebration of gospel music’s rich diversity, artistry, and cultural influence, right in the heart of London.
“It is an absolute privilege for GMIA to have the platform of co-creator at this first ever SXSW London, giving us the opportunity to showcase Gospel music on this mainstream platform and highlight the often I seen story of Gospel music’s contribution to the UK Music industry. Our four acts represent the nation worth and breath of Gospel Choir talent and we look forward to the opportunity to open them up to new audiences.” Wizdom – GMIA Director
