Nigerian gospel minister Dunsin Oyekan has released the official live video for ‘Praise The Lord’, the opening track from his “New Wine” album, released earlier this year.
The song speaks of a heart completely devoted to God, putting Him above everything else and making Him the centre of our lives. Dunsin declares his desire to seek God early, acknowledging that He is all that truly matters and that no rock will cry out in his place.
Drawing from Psalm 103:1-2, where David calls on his soul and everything within him to bless the Lord and never forget His benefits, Dunsin reminds us that we were created to praise God and must never forget whose we are.
As the song progresses, he turns to a simple but powerful question. If there is still breath in your lungs, life in your body and joy in your spirit, will you praise the Lord? Whatever the circumstances, there is always a reason to give God praise.
For those who have been listening to the song since the album’s release, the video offers a chance to watch the live recording and see how it all came together.
The visuals for ‘Praise The Lord’ are now live on YouTube. Join Dunsin Oyekan in lifting your voice and giving God the praise He deserves.
