Christians working in policy, advocacy and public affairs will be gathering in Manchester this March for an afternoon that brings faith and public life into the same room. Hosted by Kingdom Policymakers, this event is for those already serving within government and civic spaces, and for those preparing to step into careers where they will help shape policy, legislation and national conversations.
It will take place on Saturday 21 March 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Fabric Church. The afternoon will include worship, space to connect with others in similar roles, and insight from leaders who understand the realities of working at policy level. Speakers include Johnson Situ of C40 Cities and Phillipa Roberts of Hope for Justice and Slave Free Alliance. Between diplomacy, climate leadership and anti-slavery advocacy, they bring real experience from the front line of policy work.
At a time when public institutions are facing complex challenges, the answer is not simply more Christians in government, but Christians who are well mentored, properly trained and grounded in character. We need believers like Daniel, who combined excellence, wisdom and conviction while serving within the structures of power. Scripture reminds us to seek the welfare of the city and to act justly, and that requires preparation as much as passion.
This gathering creates space to be strengthened, to build meaningful connections and to be reminded that faithful influence in political and policy spaces truly matters. If you are working in this field, or preparing to, this is one to attend.
Tickets and further details are available via Kingdom Policymakers.
