Ben Monteith, a Glasgow based musician who has won the hearts of music lovers throughout the city from busking on the streets over the past 2 years, is having his very first headline show in Stereo this February 16th.
Ben began his musical journey in church, thereafter took to college then performed in clubs and pubs, and later on explored the option of busking. He’s noted saying; “I hated unemployment, I was doing nothing,” Ben told Glasgow Live. “My friend had been busking for a while and encouraged me to give it a go. “
The musician who released ‘Busking Live’ announced his headline show late last year following his tour of the UK after his videos went viral. Although having been approached by representatives from X-Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, Ben has chosen not to explore that avenue, instead choosing to take an organic route for his success: already gathering 573,586 followers on facebook alone.
