GRAMMY Award-winning Christian recording artist Brandon Lake is back with new music, releasing ‘How Good God Is’.
The song comes from a very personal place, with Lake reflecting on the goodness of God through different seasons of life, including the valleys, storms, tests and trials.
Sharing the heart behind the song, he wrote:
“If God has been anything to me in this life, it’s been ‘GOOD.’ Even through every valley, storm, test and trial, I find that He is teaching me something and using it to make me a little more like Him.”
That same thought runs through the song as Lake looks back at moments where he came to know God in a deeper way, including as Healer, Saviour and Father.
But for Lake, the song is about more than just telling his own story.
“If there’s one prayer I have for this song, it’s that it would get into the head, heart, and hands of those who need a perspective shift in the middle of their own storm.”
He added:
“I hope this is more than an enjoyable song. I hope it’s a weapon.”
‘How Good God Is’ is a simple reminder that even in difficult seasons, the goodness of God remains.
