Upcoming worship leader, songwriter and gospel artist Hayley Adesina has just released her latest album “My Identity” – a 10-track project for anyone who believes in God and is a Jesus Christ lover. It will inspire you, motivate & encourage you. It will strengthen you in the faith. It will help activate the presence of God in your home and surroundings where it is played.
The album features ragga dancehall artist Dangarii Musiq from Kenya and worship leader Tosin Oyelakin from United Kingdom. We caught up with Hayley with a few quick questions. Check out her responses below:
How would you describe your style of music and what are your influences?
“My style of music is Contemporary Gospel & Praise & Worship. I love Maverick City Music & Bethel.”
Can you tell us a bit about what inspired your album?
““My Identity” was inspired to empower & encourage the church to know their identity in Christ so they can fulfil their purpose on earth.”
Which of your songs best represents you?
“‘My Story’ inspires me and I can relate with it on a personal level & ‘You Used It For My Good’ – that’s my testimony of what God has done in my own life.”
If you had the chance to work with any one person who would it be and why?
“Israel Houghton I love his music and his style of performance.”
Who are your favourite Bible personalities and why?
“David – he had a Worshipper’s heart & Daniel – he was a man of courage.”
