‘Great Love’ is the first single from Hertfordshire-based singer-songwriter and worship leader, Tosé’s debut EP Love Walk, Vol.1. This simple-to- follow track is fast gaining traction as one of the stand out worship songs in 2017.
Tosé describes it as a favourite in her local church, Praise Christian Centre London where she assists her husband as Worship Co-ordinator. Shot primarily in a picturesque English country farm, the video was directed by Fred Williams of Icon Towers productions of whom Tosé describes as “intensely and incredibly creative and an absolute joy to work with”.
The video also features Ose, Tosé’s husband who played keyboards on the track and co-produced it alongside award-winning producer and recording artist, Evans Ogboi.
Tosé recounts writing ‘Great Love’ under very ‘mundane circumstances’- on a crowded bus on her way to work. Feeling suddenly overwhelmed by God’s incomparable love, the lyrics came quite easily. She had thought the song would and should be a personal one between her and her Lord at first but she states she sensed God tell her it was meant for the church.
Along with her congregation we are excited that she decided to share her worshipper’s heart in ‘Great Love’.
