Time2Shine winner Esther Farinde release Afrobeat hit ‘Song Cry’

UK based Urban Gospel Songstress Esther Farinde teamed up with Afrobeats producer Victzzle to create her new single ‘Song Cry’. The single has been released with an official video shot in CastleField, Manchester by The Kapital Group in conjunction with Unbound PR.

‘Song Cry’ is an infectious song highlighting Esther’s delicate yet moving vocals layered on an irresistible Afrobeat track that has a year round feel-good vibe.

Esther Farinde is a London based mother of 2 whose musical journey started in church. She went on to win televised singing competition ‘Time2Shine’ and was taken on by the Time2Shine management team who encouraged her to explore the current afrobeat sound, with ‘Song Cry’ being the her first release under the label.

When asked about the song Esther says: “Song Cry is a song about my journey, I looked back at my time in uni when I went through depression and feelings of rejection. I was filling the void with drugs, alcohol and going out. Looking back at where I have come from and what God has done in my life, Song Cry is a shout of victory from my heart. I want to do something new. I want people to connect with the song and with me. I want to inspire other people. I want to remove any stigmas and be open about who I
am”.

‘Song Cry’ is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play and other online outlets.
