The Cokers have only recently been promoting the music video for their latest single ‘For the Lord is Good.’ The single is from their album ‘Through the Veil’ and is an urban blend of dub step and contemporary rock that keeps you singing along with its catchy tune.
Their debut album ‘Through the Veil’ at its launch featured an array of guests and featured talent including hosts Pastor Clinton McFarlane (MBE) and Rachel Brown along with performances from the likes of Sara-Jayne McLeod, Volney Morgan & New-Ye, Peter Francis & the Jabez Family, JayEss and June Ubi.
The Cokers, 2014 Prosperity Award Winners for ‘Best UK Group’ have been trailblazing their way throughout the UK Gospel scene and are a refreshing blend of velvet tones and creativity wrapped up in a loving kiss for every listener.
‘Through the Veil’ consists of 14 original tracks written by the couple. Their unique sound is very distinct and marries scripture with emphatic melodies that keep you wanting more. The album has been produced by renowned producers such as; Paul Watson, Marcus Johnson, Gavin Holligan, and Myx Quest (the producer of the chart topping single ‘Creator’ featuring The Cokers.)
As a new act to the Gospel industry, this young couple are certainly setting a strong foundation to build upon. With their determination and passion for worship, Olrick and Siobhan will continue to inspire others to pursue God and fulfil their purpose.
