The Rise of the Kingdom – Thoughts from Jordan Bikila

Now more than ever we’re hearing and seeing the rise of Gospel music. Throughout history Gospel music has played an integral role in the development and sustainment of mainstream music. Artists such as the great Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Coldplay and many more have been influenced by the beautiful sounds of the genre. Now, in 2024, we’re seeing the rise of the kingdom. Gospel artists are streaming more than ever, and stepping into arenas just like mainstream artists. The Spirituals taking on Koko, Called-Out Music doing shows globally, LimoBlaze taking on the billboard charts, Annatoria doing an arena tour with arguably the biggest group in Christian music, Elle Limebear having a successful UK tour and so many more great things, all of this is happening! The culture is strong and the rise of the creative church is right in front of us.

The question is: how do we sustain it ? Can we sustain it ?

The answer is yes, we are stronger together, therefore as long as we stick together, support each other and collaborate, the possibilities are endless. There is more. There has to be more, after all. Greater things are expected from us. I am energised and determined to see it grow, the breath of talent we have is undeniable God-given talent and the message is being heard. Let’s create more music, do more shows/tours and not be afraid to step out into territories that are unknown and unfamiliar .

Dream, believe and achieve.
