The Kingdom Choir partners with charity Refuge for summer hit ‘Real Love’

In response to the increase in domestic abuse during COVID-19, The Kingdom Choir have released an original song, ‘Real Love’, partnering with the charity Refuge, to raise vital funds to aid in their support to women and children escaping domestic violence.

Karen Gibson says: “Real Love is released at a time when many of us feel hope and new beginnings as lockdown starts to lift. But for women and children who experience domestic abuse, this couldn’t be further from their truth – The Kingdom Choir and I hope that this single will not only raise vital funds for Refuge, but also awareness of the charity’s work – women need to know they are not alone and that Refuge is there for them. Through the joy of hope and song, we hope to send a message that there is life after domestic abuse: a positive, fulfilling, uplifting life.”

‘Real Love’ is written by: Adenikè Zen, Ian Green, Mark Beswick, Philippa Hanna, Sharlene Morris, The Kingdom Choir.
