Safehouse Scotland’s new song release declares ‘His Name Is Majesty’

UK-based worship and publishing house Safehouse Scotland will release ‘His Name Is Majesty’ today, Friday 24 October 2025, the fourth single in a six-song series marking the official launch of Safehouse Scotland. Written and performed by Safehouse co-founder Andrew Mitchell, the song is a corporate call to worship that reminds believers of the beauty and power of unity in God’s presence.

Drawing inspiration from Psalm 133, which declares, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity… For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore” (Psalm 133:1, 3 NIV), ‘His Name Is Majesty’ calls worshippers away from bright lights and big sounds and back to the simple, reverent posture of bowing before the King.

Andrew shares, “At Safehouse, we are passionate about writing songs that encourage reverence for God in corporate worship. With this song, our heart was to strip everything back and create space for people to humbly come into His presence as one body, His family. When we do that, His holiness covers us all, bringing transformation and blessing.”

The song’s lyrics point to the beauty of worship where age, background, skin tone, and accent no longer matter. Instead, the focus is on the unity of God’s people lifting one voice to the One whose name is Majesty.

Musically, ‘His Name Is Majesty’ carries the weight and warmth of a contemporary hymn simple enough for congregations to sing together, yet profound enough to usher worshippers into a sacred moment of collective reverence.

Andrew and Jilly Mitchell founded Safehouse Scotland in 2024 with the vision to create and steward worship songs marked by authenticity, presence, and purpose. Their journey from walking away from a major record deal in 2010, through a decade in property development, to becoming the owners of Carberry Tower Mansion House and Estate near Edinburgh has deeply shaped both the message and music of Safehouse. Each release is a reflection of their testimony and their desire to see lives transformed through worship.
