In a recent interview with Sandra Luke, she described the phenomenal year she had after the successful release of the song she wrote ‘Great Are You Lord’ which was voted as number one song in the Step FWD UK Christian Charts in February 2021 as Best Contemporary Gospel Song and the subsequent nomination for the Best Song of the Year at the Step FWD Awards.
“It was an absolute honour to work with producers Sam Facey and Dave Prince and I was also blessed to work with some of the UK’s finest Gospel artists, Volney Morgan and New Ye, Roger Samuels, Jason Nicholson-Porter, Marcia Walder-Thomas, and Musicians, Clint Williams, Perez McKinley, Clive McKinley, Paul Bruce (also co-producer), and of course, Foreign Praise. It was an experience I will always cherish”.
Sandra’s new project was inspired by The Lord’s Prayer and it is her hope the song will inspire someone to serve a higher and greater purpose than their own. The song is out now on all digital platforms.
Through her charitable work in the community, she continues to support vulnerable young people and adults, the isolated and those who are on low incomes, living in deprived areas, by delivering food and providing services relating to education.
