Join Premier Radio at their first ever, star-studded Premier Gospel Awards as beloved presenters hand out awards like Best Song, Best Newcomer, Choir of the Year, and Best Album. You’ll also be blessed with performances from some of the stand out Gospel artists of recent times.
There has been much discussion and debate about awards in the Gospel scene over the years. Every September that conversation reaches a crescendo as the MOBO nominations are revealed. Putting things into perspective recently was a published article on ‘The Importance of Gospel Awards’ by GMIA’s Juliet Fletcher in Keep The Faith Magazine. Not much more needs to be said, for now, except applaud Premier’s efforts to bring something new to the Gospel scene.
The event will take place on April 23rd 2016 at the RCCG Royal Connections in East London from 7pm. An expert judging panel will announce nominations soon and the public will be invited to get involved too. Performers on the night are to be revealed shortly.
