The Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart is starting to get even more interesting. We had a new No.1 last week, and now a different song has taken over the top spot this week. GUVNA B becomes the fifth artist to reach No.1, joining JERUB, Thiago and DC3, Chantelle Rutendo, and Imrhan and LeoStayTrill on the growing list of chart-toppers.

REST MY HEAD by GUVNA B makes a powerful return to the chart and goes straight to No.1, replacing FINISHED BUSINESS by Imrhan and LeoStayTrill, which drops from No.1 to No.6 after just one week at the top.
This is now the second week in a row that the chart has produced a new No.1, showing just how quickly things can change. No song appears safe at the top, and the diversity in the streams and sales of UK Christian and Gospel songs is becoming even more noticeable with every new update.
Another thing to note is that REST MY HEAD becomes another rap song to reach No.1 on the chart, following VALLEY by Thiago and DC3, which was the first rap song to take the top spot.
The movement continues at No.2, where HALLELUJAH (WORTHY IS THE LAMB) by Chosen Sounds and Florence Kisiwaa climbs from No.4. EVERGREEN by Rend Collective drops one place to No.3, while THERE’S THIS KING THAT I KNOW by Chantelle Rutendo moves up to No.4.
GUIDE ME II by Culture Cnnct and Soundsdubetter also continues its steady climb, moving from No.6 to a new peak at No.5. Last week’s No.1, FINISHED BUSINESS, now sits at No.6, while THIS GOD by Min. Adeoluwa moves from No.3 to No.7.
VALLEY by Thiago and DC3 drops one place to No.8, while one of the new entries this week, HOW COULD IT BE by GAS Street Music and Mudere, goes straight into the Top 10 at No.9. PSALM 51 by Chantelle Rutendo rounds off the Top 10 at No.10, once again giving her two songs in the upper part of the chart.
There are two new entries across the Top 20 this week. Alongside HOW COULD IT BE entering at No.9, TRUMPETS by Y Shadey arrives at No.15. This also gives Y Shadey two songs on the chart, with MADE A WAY sitting at No.18.
There are also two re-entries further down the list. TIL THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS by Philippa Hanna and Israel Houghton returns at No.19, while LOVE SONG by Warehouse Worship re-enters at No.20.
Another interesting thing about REST MY HEAD is that it is not a new song on the chart. It returns after previously spending seven weeks on the list, but this time it comes back stronger and goes all the way to No.1. That makes its return one of the most interesting movements we have seen on the chart so far.
Looking across the chart this week, there is a clear mix of worship, rap, contemporary Gospel and other expressions of Christian music. The changing No.1 also shows how UK listeners are spreading their streams and sales across different sounds.
