In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa and the heartbreaking destruction it left behind, award winning gospel artist Minister Taf steps forward with a sound that carries strength, joy and reassurance. His new single titled ‘Nice Again‘ arrives as a timely reminder that the spirit of Jamaica is stronger than any storm.
Produced by his longtime collaborator Jvmmie Jae, the track carries an upbeat and unmistakably Jamaican rhythm. It is joyful, vibrant and full of life, yet grounded in a message that points the nation back to faith. Taf explains that the inspiration came from his conviction that Jamaica will rise again, holding tightly to the promise in Haggai chapter two verse nine which says that the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former.
Another striking moment in the song is Taf’s heartfelt appreciation for everyone working tirelessly in the rebuilding process. From volunteers to community leaders, he acknowledges the sacrifice, the hard work and the unity that has kept hope alive.
Speaking about the heart behind the record, Taf shared that he did not want to create something heavy even though the situation is painful. He said that Jamaicans are naturally joyful, expressive and full of gratitude, and even in difficult seasons they still find a way to smile, dance and believe again. For him this song is a reassurance that God is with the nation, His mercy preserved lives, and the island will be nice again.
‘Nice Again’ is more than a musical release. It is a call for unity, a reminder to hold on to each other and to stay mentally strong. Minister Taf, being a proud Jamaican himself, emphasises that this is a moment to remain rooted in faith because Jamaica has always been a God fearing nation.
To support the ongoing rebuilding efforts across the island, twenty percent of the proceeds from the song will be donated towards Jamaica’s relief support.
