‘Never Be The Same’ is the new self-produced single from Michael & Becci Ball, following up on their debut album, “Holy One”. Released through Furnace Music, it’s a synth and bass-heavy track, despite being written on acoustic guitar(!) and with its vocal chops is reminiscent of ODESZA.
Every time the Lord reveals something of Himself to us it has the potential to be completely life-changing if we allow it to be. ‘Never Be The Same’ is an attempt to meditate on the mind-boggling reality that the God who created the universe, who spoke all things into being, this same God cares deeply about our innermost thoughts. It’s staggering really that He holds all things together and sustains all things and yet has the capacity to not only hear us but be interested in the things we say. This song responds to those truths.
